Michelle Mills

Michelle is an international educator with over 10 years of classroom experience. She holds a MAT in curriculum and instruction and taught in both the US and abroad. Michelle first discovered yoga when she was in college in 2005 and has been practicing since. She loves getting sweaty in Vinyasa but enjoys classical Hatha as well as Ashtanga. She has always known from the time she first started practicing that she wanted to teach yoga.  


She became a 200 RYT through Breathe 4 Change, which is dedicated to bringing yoga, mindfulness and social and emotional well-being to those in education.

Michelle teaches middle school PE and math and incorporates mindfulness into her classroom daily through movement, meditation, journaling and community building exercises.

Michelle became interested in yoga for kids when she discovered that she can combine two passions--working with children and yoga! She earned her 95 RCYT through  Kidding Around Yoga. In her classes, children are given the tools to deal with everyday stress, become more successful in regulating their emotions, all while learning that kindness is key. Boys and girls of all ages benefit from the KAY method and learn to work together during activities, partner yoga, storytelling and so much more. Michelle is a lover of peace, love, joy and light and lots of peaceful children and can’t wait to share the practice of yoga with your little ones.

In her spare time Michelle enjoys being outside, traveling, and spending time with her friends, family and Australian husband. Michelle loves teaching yoga at breweries to educators and non-educators and believes we can change the world  by giving everyone access to yoga and meditation.
